January 2023 – Provisional Order of the Single-Member Court of First Instance of Piraeus regarding the suspension of enforcement proceedings, under Article 973, paragraph 6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

By virtue of the provisional order of the Single-Member Court of First Instance of Piraeus, the auctioning process of our client ‘s residential property, has been suspended. The initiation of said process had been based on a statement of continuation of the auction proceedings. In order to challenge the aforementioned statement, an objection was promptly filed in accordance with the provisions of Article 973, paragraph 6 of the Code of Civil Procedure. The initiated trial took place according to the proceedings of Interim Measures. The Single-Member Court of First Instance of Piraeus, having examined the possibility of irreparable harm to our client should the continuation of the auction took place, ordered the suspension of any act of enforcement proceedings without any conditions until the hearing of our application.
